See It: Clinton Center Quickly Deletes Old Photo of Bill After X Users Weigh In

On Monday, the Clinton Presidential Center posted a photo to X, likely intending to take its followers down memory lane, which led to a brutal response from social media users.

The Clinton Presidential Center shared an old photo of then-president Bill Clinton sending out his “first-ever email.”

The account dated the photo Nov. 7, 1998, asking its followers if they could guess who the then-president was sending a message to.

The photo was posted just days after a release of documents relating to deceased sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. In them, a reported female victim of Epstein named former President Clinton as someone who enjoyed sexual encounters with very young women

As expected, the replies tore into Clinton, with many paraphrasing the documents released earlier in the day, or simply responding with references to Jeffrey Epstein.

The backlash was so severe that the post was limited to who could comment on it before it was ultimately deleted.

In December, U.S. District Court Judge Loretta Preska ordered the release of a trove of Epstein-related documents that were related to Virginia Giuffre’s defamation lawsuit against Epstein’s partner Ghislaine Maxwell.

The release of those documents began on Wednesday, and additional documents were released Monday, with more on the way.

In one excerpt, a young woman recalled that Epstein had told her that Clinton “likes them young.” The comment was made under sworn testimony from a civil suit by a woman named Johanna Sjoberg in 2016, the New York Post reported.

Epstein had numerous ties to the Clinton family. However, both Bill and Hillary Clinton have repeatedly denied ever having visited his infamous private island. A representative for Clinton repeated these claims last week, once again denying that he ever visited his infamous private island, NBC News reported.
