Watch: Wild Video Shows UFC Star Sean Strickland Holding Trespasser at Gunpoint in Front of His Home

In what can only be described as a very ill-considered move, a would-be burglar planned to break into the home of Sean Strickland.

Strickland is an undisputed UFC middleweight fighting champion.

On Monday, the UFC champ posted a video of the encounter on his Instagram account. Footage shows a man attempting to hide between two cars in Strickland’s driveway, evidently waiting for the opportunity to break into the home.

Strickland, joined by a friend dressed in a red shirt, confronts the trespasser, who attempts to flee. Strickland easily puts the man down and orders the man to stay down as he points a gun at the would-be intruder.

Strickland downplayed the incident in a follow-up statement:

Here’s what I know…

The guy was drunk stomping out a girl, a security guard seen it, he jumped in his car and drove off. Security followed him, hit a curb, completely shredded his tire, drove on the rim for a while then jumped out and tried to hide at my house. I initially thought he was stealing my car.

He was arrested.

Breitbart reported that Strickland will defend his middleweight crown against South African Dricus du Plessis at UFC 297 on January 20.
