‘Pawn Stars’ Rick Harrison’s Son’s Cause of Death Revealed

Adam Harrison, the son of “Pawn Stars” celebrity Rick Harrison, died last January at the age of 39 as a result of “fentanyl and methamphetamine toxicity,” according to the recently released findings of the Clark County Nevada coroners.

“Yes, I can confirm Adam died from a fentanyl overdose,” Rick Harrison told Fox News in January. “The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously. It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.”

Adam had been incarcerated for several months prior to his death. Following his release, he resided in a guesthouse in the Las Vegas area, where he was discovered deceased. A report indicates that Adam had exhibited concerning behavior, including barricading himself inside the guesthouse in the days leading up to his death. He was last seen alive on January 17 and, after failing to respond to knocks on his door, a message was found indicating he was ill and intended to quarantine himself.

On January 19, after concerns were raised about his well-being, the landlord found Adam unresponsive in his bed. Nearby, authorities discovered two vials of an unidentified substance, along with drug paraphernalia.

Adam Harrison was Rick’s second son with his ex-wife Kim. Rick and Kim are also parents to Corey, who appears on “Pawn Stars.” Rick has another son Jake with his second wife, Tracy.

While Adam did not appear on the show, he was involved in the family’s pawn shop business. “Pawn Stars,” a reality show that began airing in 2009, has become one of television’s most popular series, second only to “Jersey Shore.”
